Kim Gwang-Sook is a representative folk singer of Seodo Minyo, folk songs from northwestern area of Korea. She trained under Seodo Minyo master Oh Bok-Nyeo for 7 years and became a recognized disciple. She is presenting the unique singing style of Seodo Minyo to the world through her numerous performances.
