Patinamole

Sang-jin, Choi

I suffer from ringing in the ears and being hard of hearing.
My ears are ringing and I am hard of hearing.
I looked for the outbreaks' cause in other places since I don't have a structural defect.

It is just Patinamole.

Patinamole is a fictional existence living at my eyes as a compound word of mole and green rust which is results of copper corrosion's phenomenon or a double agent. A few sounds reache my brain since they eat and remove sounds entering my eye and regard the sounds as their object in a play. Therefore, I cannot help analogizing the original meaning, mixing a few sounds. It makes me not have an amicable communication and people misunderstand me.
To express such situations in pictures, I visualized my hearing structure and sound and created Patinamole. Patinamole's actions cause hearing impairments and are a symbol of sounds eaten and removed by them.

I wish that spectators could experience such a difficulty in communication indirectly through my pictures. If you look for Patinamole around, it is better. Maybe you may have the Patinamol
